Every 123Alterations tailor is background-checked and carries ID. Every item gets a QR tag and a photo at your door and is scanned at each handoff, so you can see where it is. You sign the price before anything leaves, and if we damage or lose an item, our written policy says what we pay.
Vetted tailors
- Background check before the first visit.
- Photo ID, and their first name sent to you before they arrive.
- An adult (18+) must be present for every home visit, and either side can end a visit if anyone feels unsafe.
A QR tag on every item
The tag goes on at your door with a photo of the pinning. It is scanned at the workroom, by the tailor, at quality check and at delivery. Each scan lands in your tracker.
Quality check before return
Before anything comes back, the work is checked against your signed quote with a checklist, and the finished item is photographed. Anything that fails goes back for a redo.

A 123Alterations tailor who has passed a background check and carries ID. You get their first name before the visit.
What happens if an item is lost or damaged?
Every item is tagged and photographed at your door, so we can see where it was last scanned. If we lose or damage it, our garment care and liability policy sets out what we pay.
Can I see where my clothes are?
Yes. Each QR tag scan, with time and photo, appears in your order tracker.
Who sees my measurements and photos?
Only the people working on your order. Our privacy policy explains what we keep and how to delete it.
