Rush Alterations: Back in Under 5 Days
Rush means the items you choose come back in under 5 days instead of the standard turnaround, for a percentage surcharge on those items only. With 123Alterations it costs $28 on Long Island and $32 in NYC and $28 in Westchester. Most orders come back in 7–10 days. A tailor prices it at your home and you approve before we take anything.

How it works
- Book a windowEnter your ZIP, add your items to the booking, and pick a 2-hour window. Your card is saved, not charged.
- Pin and price at homeYour tailor fits the items on you at home and prices it from our posted list. You approve and sign before anything leaves.
- Tag and alterEach item gets a QR tag at your door and is altered in our workroom. A quality check with a photo comes before it is returned.
- Delivered, then chargedWe bring it back in a window you choose. Your card is charged the signed amount once the work is back with you.

Turnaround

Damage, claims and payment
Every item is tagged and photographed at your door and scanned at each handoff. Your card is charged once, after delivery, for no more than the quote you signed. See our garment care & liability policy and how payment works.

Do you do same-day alterations?
Not at the moment. Rush brings items back in under 5 days.
When is my card charged?
Your card is saved when you book and charged only after your order is back with you, for the amount you approved. We never charge more than the approved quote without asking you first.
Is there sales tax on alterations in New York?
No. New York excludes tailoring and alterations to clothing from sales tax, including reasonable, separately stated alterations to new clothing.
