In-Home Tailoring Across NYC, Long Island & Westchester
In-home tailoring means a tailor comes to you: they pin and measure at your home, take the clothes to our workroom, and bring them back altered. With 123Alterations it costs $28 on Long Island and $32 in NYC and $28 in Westchester. Most orders come back in 7–10 days. A tailor prices it at your home and you approve before we take anything.

- Pin and price at homeYour tailor fits the clothes on you at home and prices it from our posted list. You approve and sign before anything leaves.
- Tag and alterEach item gets a QR tag at your door and is altered in our workroom. A quality check with a photo comes before it is returned.
- Delivered, then chargedWe bring it back in a window you choose. Your card is charged the signed amount once the work is back with you.

Most orders come back in 7–10 days (our promised turnaround). Rush brings items back in under 5 days for +40% on the rushed items.
Damage, claims and payment
Every item is tagged and photographed at your door and scanned at each handoff. Your card is charged once, after delivery, for no more than the quote you signed. See our garment care & liability policy and how payment works.
In-home tailoring questions
Is there a minimum order?
No. Orders under the trip-fee minimum pay a small trip fee; at or above it, there is no trip fee.
Can you come to my office?
Yes. Any address in a live area works. Add front-desk or building notes when you book.
What if I am not happy with the fit?
Try everything on when it is delivered. If anything is off, reply to the delivery text and we will fix it at no charge. Fits right, or we fix it.
When is my card charged?
Your card is saved when you book and charged only after your order is back with you, for the amount you approved. We never charge more than the approved quote without asking you first.
Is there sales tax on alterations in New York?
No. New York excludes tailoring and alterations to clothing from sales tax, including reasonable, separately stated alterations to new clothing.
